What We Provide
NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course
The goal of the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting-Instructor Led Training course is to teach students the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. This course will cover both the revolver and the semi-automatic action types in detail. Students may provide their own handgun and ammunition. Handguns must be in good working condition and may be chambered in any caliber.
NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting Course
Students learn NRA's rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development.
About Montoya Firearms Training And Tactics, LLC
Based in Tucson, AZ we provide basic firearms training that will equip you with the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to safely and legally handle and operate firearms. We offer classes in a traditional classroom style environment and we also offer personal one on one instruction as well. We offer NRA courses in Basic Pistol Shooting, Basic Rifle Shooting, Personal Protection In The Home and Personal Protection Outside The Home, as well as a Basic Handgun/Concealed Carry Course. Successful completion of any of the our live fire courses will provide you with the required documentation necessary to apply for a Arizona Concealed Carry Permit.
